LaTeX is great, no doubt about it, but it’s not easy to master.
If you are lucky you have in your team a LaTeX ninja that will be able to help. If you’re not then maybe you can check: tex.stackexchange.com one of the specialized networks created as a spin-off of the popular stackoverflow site.
Let me know if you are aware of other forums/sites useful to get help on LaTeX (in case my LaTeX ninja disappears 🙂 ).
